In a sector as challenging as aerospace, component precision and reliability are essential. We have recently developed 50D5 and 60D6 silicone seals with small sections and dimensions, compliant with the NFL 17-250-2 standard, for static sealing applications.

A process optimised for performance and sustainability

This seal is manufactured by injection in a semi-automatic process on a modern press, guaranteeing perfect dimensional precision and repeatability.

A key point in this development was the definition of the split line, the injection gate and the ventings in collaboration with our customer. This approach enabled:

• ✔ avoid functional zones, thus ensuring optimum performance
• ✔ optimise mould life, ensuring sustainable production
• ✔ ensure safe, high-quality and productive production

A ready-to-use part with no rework

Thanks to our expertise in mould design and manufacture, parts are delivered finished straight from the mould, without the need for cryogenic or manual deburring. This process optimisation reduces costs and guarantees constant quality.
