The latest example is the development of an LSR silicone flat gasket component, which provides a sealing function on cosmetic packaging, industrialised using a semi-automatic 24-cavity LSR injection process.

Semi-automatic 24-cavity LSR injection: a suitable process choice
For this LSR silicone part, we designed and implemented a semi-automatic LSR injection process based on a 24-cavity mould.
This choice allows for:
- An excellent compromise between productivity and flexibility
- Precise control of LSR injection parameters
- Dimensional repeatability
- The possibility of increasing production rates if necessary
LSR injection remains particularly relevant for the manufacture of LSR silicone sealing parts, thanks to the stability of the material and the precision of the process.

Complete development carried out in 2.5 months
The project was carried out over a total period of 2.5 months, incorporating all the key stages:
- In-house mould design
- Mould production by approved subcontractors
- Receipt and dimensional checks of mould components
- Assembly and adjustment of the mould
- Mounting on LSR injection moulding machine
- Process testing and determination of optimum injection parameters
- Dimensional measurement of parts
- Updating of technical manufacturing data
- Presentation of initial samples to the customer
